How to save an instance of a class(Make a custom component?) from the editor window
Hi! I have added an item to the unity project window create menu. Clicking the item opens up a editor window which allows you to put in variables for a instance of a particular class. I then want to be able to save that data class instance and then drag it on as a component in Unity. Is this possible? I believe what I want is a custom component that remembers the data that was saved in it. Also I am doing this in C# but can probably translate a JavaScript answer to C# if needed.
