360 Video Player Limitations
I'm following the VR Video tutorial from here.
I created two different VR videos, one mono, one stereo. Both are 4096x2048 in resolution.
I also created a 2D RenderTexture at 4096x2048, and a 3D RenderTexture at 4096x2048.
I also created a 2D and 3D Skybox Material, making sure that the 3D material was set to 3D Layout > Over Under.
When I load the 2D video (using the 2D RT/SM), it plays perfectly. When I load the stereo video (using the 2D RT/SM), it plays perfectly, but you see the horizontal split for Over/Under, which is expected.
However, when I load the 3D video (using the 3D RT/SM), no video plays.
Is there a video size limitation for stereo playback? Is 4096x2048 not supported for a 3D Skybox Material?

I know this is an old post, but maybe for someone else looking. The Skybox Material in Lighting must also be set to the SkyBox Material for the Video.
