deviceUniqueIdentifier on android not different on re-install?
So correct me if I'm wrong.
SystemInfo.deviceUniqueIdentifier returns a string that's unique for the device per install e.g.
the first time the app is installed
the deviceUniqueIdentifier is [someIdHere] for the duration of the install
the app is deleted and reinstalled
the deviceUniqueIdentifier is now different from the previous Id
From what I understand, this is true. With the exception of android?
The reason I'm asking is because I have cross-platform accounts and save with persistent settings. So push notifications to need to be tied to app installs since if a user reinstalls the app, I have to get they have to allow permission again. Works fine except for android since the code thinks that the app is the same install as the deleted one (where push notification permissions were given).
Thanks for your time!
