I want to set mechanics like in this game 'Sand Ball' where you swipe on sand and sand is removed from swiping area?

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.water.balls in this game you swipe to create a way for balls to go down so how can i make it like remove sand where i swipe?
