Importing from lightwave with bone animation
Hello. I'm getting a problem when trying to import a scene from lightwave into unity. I'm using bones to animate small needles on some gauges. The bones are in the same layer as the object being animated and the bone mapping and animation looks fine in ligtwave. In unity however, it seems as if the first child bone (and/or null object) has distorted the whole object, twisting it on it's side to begin with. I tried different approaches, but it always get tilted on import.
When I rotate the first bone and/or null, the whole object spins. The other bones just affect the needles, as they should. I can't seem to find an answer to this issue.
Does anyone know what's causing this? I know it's not related to the way I export anyway.
