[Vive][Newb] Question about transforms and eulerangles as inputs
Thanks in advance. I am brand new to C# and coding in general.
In my scene I want the player to be able to turn a wheel, with vive controller, that moves a platform forward/backward in relation to the rotation.The Vive interaction works with the wheel thanks to Newton VR.
I can make this work with keyboard inputs via:
Vector3 desiredMove = transform.forward * Input.GetAxis("Vertical") * moveSpeed;
Is there a way to use the rotation from my cylinder in place of the keyboard input? I am guessing through eulerangles positon? My googlefu is failing me on this one.
