Editor - Keep current folder location in project window when clicking on states?
I have been making a lot of Animation Controllers lately, and it keeps bugging me that when I select a state to add an animation, the project view changes location to where the controller is, and not where I am about to select my animation from.
Can I deactivate this behavior where unity changes the folder location in my Project tab?

There is a little lock icon in the top right of the project view window (Same as the inspector window) If you click that it'll lock the project view to it's current folder, that's probably the best you'll get.
Navigate to the folder you want with all your animations in it, and lock it. Then you can click about your animator window and the project view won't switch back.
