Editor script temporarily freezes Unity
The script has no errors it's just very intensive, and the progress bar doesn't work as a result (as Unity temporarily freezes up), is there a way to slow the script down or make it work with the progress bar code?
The process is a simple for loop that combines meshes.
Progress bars are the bane of all programmers, unfortunately. It is pretty hard to actually create a time-reliable loading bar.
A few things, doing these things in the editor versus what you are going to expect in a build is going to throw you pretty bad. You might want to see where you are at with it in a build before trying to multi-thread your way to loading-bar utopia.
