How do I make copies of an Animated Enemy?
Hello, I have an animated (Mecanim) Zombie Enemy I downloaded from Mixamo. It's all working fine, but when I try to copy the Enemy, or make a Prefab of the Enemy, the new one does not play the animations. Only the original one animates. What am I missing?
Inside of the duplicate, go to the animator bar and make sure that it matches the original.
Hi thanks for your reply! Animator "bar", you mean the Component in the Inspector? I made sure all the components were copied over individually, now when I run the game, the original Enemy still works, & the duplicate follows the Player, but it's stuck in an Idle animation. If I disable the Original, then the duplicate works fine. But, it's seems they don't want to share the same animator component simultaneously? idk!
I figured it out! In my script the Animator was static. I changed it to public and dragged the component into it for each. Thanks for your help!
