How to flip the Steam VR Play Area when loading a new scene?
I have two scenes that the player can move back and forth between. In one scene the player enters an area that requires them to physically turn around and then select a item which loads a new scene. This loads the player facing the wrong direction. I can set the play area in this new scene to spawn the character facing the reversed direction as needed manually or with a simple bit of code:
void Awake()
{
steamPlayer.rotation = desiredHeadPosition.rotation;
}
however when the player exits this scene to return to the first they are then facing backwards in this scene?
I have tested the options here https://forum.unity.com/threads/steam-vr-plugin-reset-position-and-orientation.389588/#post-5146517 but none have worked for me.
Any ideas?
