TrailRenderer renders infinitely long, even though time is set to 1f
I have a TrailRenderer inside an otherwise empty GameObject which is a child of a circle sprite that moves based on input.
The TrailRenderer's 'Time' is set to 1f (I tried setting it to different values) but the trail is infinitely long, it never fades out.
If I move this object to a different scene, but with the same camera prefab, it works normally. If I create a completely new scene and add this object to the new scene, it's infinite again.
Help would be greatly appreciated!

The problem was not really related to particle renderers: For some reason the Time.timeScale was set to 0 when the scene loaded. Setting it manually to 1 at scene load fixed the issue.
