dynamic path arrows like in endless legends

Hey folks,

I am trying to create something similar to the selection arrows in endless legend (see attached image) However, I think there is a better and more efficient than what I have in mind and I was wondering if anyone could help me realize that.

my plan is to currently instantiate arrow prefabs on mouse click and then scale them based on distance. Currently, I don't see a way to add a curve to the arrows other than directly creating the object like that.

So if anyone out there in the community knows a better way of doing this please lend me your wisdom.
