Can I use stuff from Sample Projects created by Unity Technologies in the demo scene of my asset?
Hi !
I'm building a vehicle controller and I intend to make it available as an asset. Can I use stuff from Sample Projects created by Unity Technologies to build the demo scene that will be integrated to my asset ?
Thanks

Yes, it is technically legal. Unity releases their sample projects so anyone can use them for whatever they need. Unfortunately, a perfect example is that someone has released a Unity sample project on the app store.
Now, just because it is legal, does not make it right. Maybe for a free project it isn't that big of a deal, but if you intend on making money off it, then you can argue about the ethics of it.
