Multiplayer battles on iOS
I'm trying to make a very simple game where you name 4 characters with randomly generated stats (based on certain guidelines, of course). I made some concept art, in which all the stats are laid out on top of every character.
How would I go about all of this? Especially the fact that I would like to make this multiplayer.
You choose local or online, find a battle and you play. You wouldn't know the other person's choice until you choose your own character.
These games are supposed to be short, and I don't need any extensive animation for the attacking or getting hit, the game is supposed to look like an NES game.
