Recover deleted assets in Unity 5
In previous versions of Unity, any assets from the project view that I deleted ended up in my Recycle Bin so I could restore them if I made a mistake. In Unity 5, they just seem to disappear. Has anyone else experienced this problem or know how to fix it?
Don't have a solution to your specific problem, but depending on Unity to move files into the recycle bin probably isn't the best thing to do. $$anonymous$$oving forward, you should adjust your workflow. Start making backups and use a version control system.

IMPORTANT! I just found this trick that works when you delete something from inside unity. Go the the folder that your deleted object came from. right click and click either properties or RESTORE PREVIOUS VERSIONS and click on the earlier version that windows automatically saved.
