hi guys, i wanted some help for writing a script to handle slicing 2d gameobjects into smaller pieces
basically i want to write a script to slice game objects into 2 ( or more ) independent gameobjects. guys i don t want to spawn a prefab that is ready before . i want to draw a line within my gameobject body and then slice it into smaller ones. thanks for any help in advance.
Are you attempting to cut 2D sprites or 3D meshes viewed to look 2D?
i am trying to cut 2dSprites into smaller sprites
tnx for your reply
but i know that there is awesome assets in the store that you can do almost anything with them
i am trying to figure out how to implement this script myself
this is what i exactly want to do : https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/en/#!/content/12911
i was wondering if there is a way that i can do it myself
a sprite is also just a mesh, so this might get you going:
