How to detect a collision (or force) from a 2D Point Effector?
I'm using a 2D point effector to create an explosion that knocks other objects back. I also want those objects to take damage when they are hit by an explosion.
So on the type of objects being hit ("blocks"), I have both an OnTriggerEnter and OnCollisionEnter method - but neither of them are being called when they are hit by the explosion object (which has a 2D point effector attached for knock-back).
Does anyone know how to create a 2D explosion object that will knock objects back the way a 2D point effector does, but can be detected by the objects that it touches?
Thank you!
