Weird Issue: Textures become transparent when running from the editor in an android platform
I'm working on a really simple card game app for android as my first solo Unity project.
Whenever I run from the editor the PNG textures I'm using for the front of the cards become slightly transparent. I've checked their Sprite Renderer's color property during the run and it shows 255 for the alpha. So this suggests that the transparency comes from the png files themselves, but I opened those up in an editor and found 255 for the alpha again.
The weird thing is that this ONLY happens when I run from the editor while on the android platform. Build versions of the android app don't have this issue, and neither do other platforms when I run in the editor.
I'm loading the textures in question procedural from the Resources folder. And I have texture compression set to "ECT 1 or RGBA 16" in the build settings.
It's really just a minor annoyance, since it doesn't show up in the final build, but I'd love to fix it anyways or at least know what's going on.
