When I attempt to paint my texture on an already existing texture, the texture doesn't change. Please help!
For some reason, when I try to paint on a texture on my terrain it isn't seemed to be appearing. At the moment I have a grass laid across my entire terrain. I am trying to paint on dirt however, nothing is changing. I have the dirt selected and I have my terrain selected. It almost seems as if the texture I add is just going under the grass cause I see the grass lighten some. Please help!
PS. $$anonymous$$y grass does seem very dark compared to the thumbnail of the texture. I have tried changing the texture but the grass remains a dark green and I also have tried changing the opacity of both the grass and the dirt I am trying to add.
As I continued to work on the issue I have cranked the target strength and opacity and the dirt was displayed. However, everything is very dark compared to the tutorial I am watching. Anyone know why? And If anyone could let me know how to undo it would be very appreciated! (Sorry, very new to this)
