Rigging af 2D character, so the feet is the root
I am trying to rig my character, my problem is that in a typical rigging situation, the Torso is the root point, as all the limbs connect to it.
I am making a skiing game, which means that i need the character to be rigged, so the ski shoes are the roots. That way i can have the skiis always touch the ground, and move the rest of the character. So i tried rigging my character with one of the feet as the root, which kind of worked, but only for the body and one leg. It is not possible to have two roots, so the other foot only has the other leg as children, and therefor is not affected when trying to make my character go down in his knees, by dragging a limb solver connected to the body, down. In conclusion, i need my character rigged so both feet is not affected by the movement of other limbs. The problem is i can't create two roots, so how do i solve this problem?
