Unity 5.3.4f1 Inconsistent Animation times between mobile devices.
Its either something to do with the button responsiveness or the animations.
On LG G3, iPhone 5/6 and the Editor the transition between panels/pages is fluid and accurate. However, testing on a Galaxy S6 indicates random delays before playing the animations that brings in a panel. It doesn't happen all the time but by around the third hit you would think the button didn't take an input (to play the animation) but if wait just a few seconds longer you'll see it play.
I can't put my finger on what might be causing the issue.
What kind of "Animation" are you talking about ? Is it about an Animation component or is it about an object you move with a script ? Do you have an extract of code, like the content of the click function called at click ?
I'm using an Animator with a controller that has several animation states. I trigger them via bools to switch between states. Once a state is turned on it will play an animation I made inside Unity, which is to slide a page out and bring one in.
I execute this code via a set onClick of a UI button.
