how do i saev an ENTIRE Project NOT just scenes or package the ENTIRE project with all scenes files assets etc etc. I have to upgrade unity and I want to save it all
please only respond if you are 100% sure of what you are saying and know how to export/ save the ENTIRE PROJECT I cannot state this enough, I want everything assets folders images scenes etc etc EVERYTHING!
I have read for 3 hours and can only find how to save scenes or copy folders but it doesn't include scenes etc
Why does unity not make this easier? its so important.. especially with all the upgrades/ versions they do..

Right click in the /Assets directory of your project window and select Show In Explorer. You'll see a directory structure containing folders called Library, Assets, ProjectSettings, etc., together with a YourGameName.sln and some other files.
Those folders, and everything they contain, is your project.
i found it - I see they are already in my pc documents area..
tanoshimi... if I upgrade to unity 5.4 will these stay there or do they delete or?
should I just make a bakup to be sure? I don't see how they would get deleted from my document area unless unity has it coded to delete on uninstall and reinstall?
so my question is are these safe here ? or should I bak up?
You should definitely make a backup before installing a new Unity version. Unity will convert the project to the new version when you first open it. $$anonymous$$ost of the time that works fine. But i had one case where it corrupted the whole project and it became unusable.
