Audio: -3db automatic attenuation on any audio playing?
I'm playing a sine wave normalized at 0bd, with the volume of the audio source set to 1, and the mixer shows a constant -3 db, so I assume Unity automatically compensates and pads all audio -3 db to help prevent peaks from too many loud sounds playing at the same time.
Is there any documentation somewhere concerning this? Does anyone know what really happens "under the hood"?
