Making a mesh from a texture
So essentially I have my code set up to pull a satellite image from google maps and cut out anything that isn't "road color". Attached is the resulting Texture2D mapped on a plane.
What I want to do is take the resulting "roads texture" and create a dynamic mesh out of it. One problem to consider is some of the roads are sorta broken up because of the image quality (although it's 3200x3200). Also, as you can see in the attached images the roads' lines aren't totally straight, they're boxy.
So I'm not totally sure how I could go about creating the road mesh and I'm hoping I could get some tips, suggestions, or maybe even the steps you would take/ helpful resources.
