Trailing effect with GUI
Some text in a GUI is to be moved up and down the screen (just the text, in a customized color). How to add a short vanishing trail to it?
That's it. Simple but I'm loosing my bolts over this..
if you do not have a high expectation on the trial, try the trialrenderer, it is so easy to use.
thanks, but trialrenderer is for 3d objects, not for gui... Ins$$anonymous$$d of one label, I've used a for loop for 10 progresivelly offset and alpha dimmed labels. It sort of makes a motion blur only the main gui label is now very hard to read .
for (i = 0; i<10; i++)
{
GUI.contentColor = new Color(0f, 1f, 0f,i/10f);
GUI.Label (new Rect (alesele[2,1], alesele[2, 2]+i*alesele[2,3] , Screen.width*0.1f, Screen.height*0.1f), alfabet[alesele[2,0],0], car3Style);
}
Dropped the "shadow" gui thing, as without it the thing resembles that $$anonymous$$atrix wallpaper, just nice.
at least i have used the trial renderer on a 2d sprite, and i believed it should work on 4.6 ui object, not sure if it works on gui but should be the same.
