Create Shader mask using box colliders
Hi guys.
I am currently writing a water shader that needs to raise up at certain points so that waves going past it look like they are effecting the water shader.
My current solution is a bunch if float4's that represent the location of the waves as boxes (our wave asset is rather boxy so it kinda fits) but I feel like it's not the correct answer.
What I really want to do is generate some sort of mask texture based off of the 2D top down shapes of all the waves that are atop my water texture and then pass that done so I can lookup the texture and see if a box is there.
Sorry if this is hard to read, late night
