Detecting bluetooth headset
I have developed an app for use in an art museum, and as such it is important, that it does not play audio when headphones are not plugged in. I have already found and implemented a plugin, that handles a wired headset detection, however, in order to adhere to Apple's guidelines, the app has to support bluetooth headsets as well (probably because of iPhone 7).
I am curious if anyone knows how to detect whether a bluetooth headset is connected or not?
I do not have experience writing native plugins yet, so a general plugin would be nice. Otherwise, it is most important that I can get it to work for iOS at the moment.
I have tried googling my problem, but to no avail. I found this plugin: https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/en/#!/content/26661, however, I talked with the author of it, and he informed me, that it was not what I was looking for.
Thank you in advance :)
Sadly, no. In the end, it was decided to just hope people would be considerate of other patrons in the museum. And so far, it seems to be doing fine.
