Trigger Collision with Character Controller
I am using the default FPSController for a game in which I have lots of moving and rotating platforms. I want to make the player a child of the moving platform when he moves onto it and remove the parent when he leaves. I made a box with a box collider as the child of the platform (because the platform has a weird rotation). But I can not get the collision to be detected. I'm assuming the issue is with the standard FPSController having a kinematic Rigidbody, but I have no idea how to get this collision to be detected.
