Lining up animations?
If I have an animation for aiming a rifle, my character's right hand is on the trigger, left hand is on the foregrip.
problem: If I use a different character model with slightly shorter arms, the right hand is on the trigger, and left hand is hovering to the side. Similarly if his arms are a fraction longer, his right arm crosses past the rifle.
is there any way within mecanim to ensure that everything lines up correctly? Preferably without the hassle of writing some form of IK script. Although if that's the only thing available, pointing to any pre-existing solution would be much appreciated.
Using Unity 5.5.1f1 (The latest as far as I'm aware, it hasn't nagged me to update for a while)
