Do i need Android Studio or Xamarin?
I have made a game in Unity using the C# language, so i head into Android Studio and into a world of problems. And after some research I discover that you cannot use C# in android studio.
First of all can someone give me a definitive answer as to weather or not i can use Android Studio with C# please?
Secondly, does this mean "Xamarin" (which i had never heard of until now) is my only option?
Is it just me or is this some kind of taboo subject? Every time I ask a question about Android Studio i seem to get totally ignored and I have seen some people get abused for asking such questions.

Perhaps you should ask your question more precisely.
You said you made your game in Unity, but then you're writing about using Android Studio. Why do you need it at all? As far as I can tell, you can program and build your Android game in Unity without any need for Android Studio. All you need is Android SDK and you can build your game to an *.apk file to be able to run it on Android devices.
You are asking questions about Android Studio on a Unity-related question site. Perhaps you should find official Android Studio forums / question site.

that's because Unity comes with the option to install Visual Studio. Xamarin is deprecated, was previously MonoDevelop and is now Visual Studio code, which also works.
And it's actually not that hard to read a simple getting started for Unity instead of just assuming how things work. Android Studio is an IDE specifically for Android native software development.
