Materials not showing up in WebGL when attached at run time
My problem is kind of weird, but maybe someone else has had a similar issue.
I am working on a project that has to be in webgl. All of the following things work in all of the other builds, but not webgl, which makes sense because it's still in beta, but I want to know if there is some sort of work around.
My first problem is when I instantiate a prefab the texture doesn't show up. Not sure why this is the case, but I believe I can work around this by having one of the objects in the scene and hidden and just duplicate it.
My main problem is that I have to create a custom mesh given outside data. Once this mesh is created I need to add a material to it but it always comes out pink. I don't know if webgl just doesn't move all of the textures over when it is built so that could be the problem.
Does anyone know how to fix either of these issues?
Thanks!
