Stretching a point light?
Hey, I've been looking all over, but can't find an explanation for this: In Inside, Playdead has some really great atmospheric, soft lighting. They casually mention that they achieve this by "stretching" their real time point lights instead of using multiple overlapping ones. This seems to make a ton of sense artistically and for performance reasons. Here is the video, and they mention it about 29:00. Any ideas how to script this? Extra credit: how to get the softness on the lights they explain a minute before? Thanks a bunch!
