Is LODgroup supposed to work that way?
I have a set of skinned meshed object with three LOD and let them move at random.
At first everything seems to work alright. The closer I go, the more details I see.
But the more the objects spread apart (they escape from one another), the less LODgroup seems to have any effect...
By that I mean that even if I get very close to one of my moving objects, the LOD stays at LOD2 instead of going back to LOD0.
From the strange behaviour it seems the LOD is calculating the distance between the camera and the starting point instead of the actual location of the object.
Is LOD made for moving objects (characters)? Am I missing something?
