Android: System.net.Sockets are supported only with Unity Android Pro: I'm not even using Sockets in my game!
Hi guys! So I'm building a blank game just to test android. I have the SDK and everything, I've set its location, but I get the error when building 'SystemException: System.net.Sockets are supported only with Unity Android Pro. Referenced from assembly 'Assembly-CSharp'. I am extremely confused: I'm not even using Sockets in my game. Like I said, it's a blank game for testing purposes. My friend who I make games with really wants to start building stuff for android. Why is this error happening and how do I fix it? Please help.
Yes. And plenty of others too. Since Unity 5.x there has been no difference in engine features between Personal and Pro, so you can use rendertextures, image effects, realtime soft shadows, not to mention sockets etc. etc.
