Method for Flightpath Trajectory
In 3dsMax, there is a plugin that I use to create an animation showing a growing flightpath trajectory as an aircraft flies.
This plugin basically takes a cross-section shape (think circle or ngon) and extrudes this shape along the animated object trajectory creating a tube-like geometry. When materials are applied to this object, you can get the look of a solid line or dashed line, etc. Basically, the geometry of this object changes on every frame. As the animated aircraft flies along, the trajectory object grows behind it. (See attached image).
Is there a method/tool of doing the same thing in Unity?
