Baked Light Maps
Should baked light maps increase draw calls ?

As I understand it, yes. A baked light map is like adding an additional texture on top of your material, and that texture has to be drawn. The benefit is that the extra draw call is much cheaper than live rendering the same shadow pattern.

It could potentially increase your draw call if you are using draw call batching. After baking, each objects are given their own lightmap. Unless you combine the lightmaps for each object, it will increase your draw call, as if you are not batching.
