Unity 3.5.7 - last planned version for 3.x cycle?!
According to http://unity3d.com/unity/download/archive 3.5.7 is the last planned version in Unity 3. Is this a joke?!
There are still lots and lots and LOTS of unfixed bugs in Unity v3. Android especially... Will Unity 3 remain imperfect forever, then?
Unity 4 also breaks entire projects, due to varied plugin support. It's true that these are probably not projects by EA or whatever, since they have an extra million dollars to hire a team to re-write whatever plugins they need. Sometimes, it really is impossible for an indie to do something they can do in Unity 3 in Unity 4.
Disclaimer: I do actually have a Unity 4 license, but I haven't really been able to use it much. A lot of existing projects currently only work with Unity 3.x (including pre-3.5, due to how plugins, Android Wallpaper etc, only works with certain 3.x). It's ridiculous that around 50 GB of my flash SSD consists just of different Unity versions that have to use for different projects. Talk about Unity fragmentation.

No, it's not a joke. This was announced 6 months ago.
