How do you get the game to look the same across all devices?
My game uses an orthographic camera. The idea is similar to pong in the way that it has a ball bouncing around and a paddle on the side of the screen. It is intended for Android. On my galaxy note 8 the paddle shows up just fine, no issues at all, but on my tablet, the paddle doesn't appear on the side of the screen. The paddle doesn't disappear, it is just off-screen. I have to physically move the paddle in the unity editor to get it to appear in the right place, but if I move it to adjust for the tablet, it is then in an awkward spot on my note 8. I have searched and searched for a solution, looking at changing the aspect ratio of the game. Is there any way to get what displays on every device be the same? I found lots of tutorials for UI, but this isn't UI, these are gameObjects.
Any advice on maybe what to do, or what to search for would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Normally for Android you have multiple build apk for tablet and android based on device resolution.
Some people like me can hard code UI to auto resize based on resolution of device(around 4 cases in total for most popular types). In some case UI simple enough you can just anchor it and resize simply using Canvas scale.

Another thing is that you can make the orthographic camera size larger that fits to all resolutions. Or first get the Screen Size in the Start and adjust camera size according to the screen.
Script is also mentioned in the above link, which will set static resolutions for all devices. [1]: https://answers.unity.com/questions/464487/windowed-game-to-fullscreen.html
