What is the capacity of Application.persistentDataPath on WebGL?
What are limitations of that? Is it suitable for the storage of images or just for small text assets only?

As per the answer by jonas-echterhoff in this forum thread WebGL Filesystem?, Application.persistentDataPath uses IndexedDB.
The limits for data storage for various storage methods are explained in this article: Working with quota on mobile browsers.
I was wondering how could I store the files uploaded by users to webgl player using method described in this post: https://forum.unity3d.com/threads/how-do-i-let-the-user-load-an-image-from-their-harddrive-into-a-webgl-app.380985/ Whether to I use:
Application.persistentDataPath,
or just the url's created wth URL.createObjectURL and passed to Unity from javascript?
But these url's seem to be just temporary for time of player session, when saved and reopened in the next session they just do no return anything. Would there be a way to make them permanent?
