android input vs testing input
Hello All
I am a beginner. I also come from the vb.net world, so i have opted to use vs2010 and c# as my scripting language.
If i create a game object and create an OnMouseUp() event handler, then i can trap the desired event and do something. However if i am targeting Android, then i must use some other event.
Are there events in android that are triggered when the game object is touched? If so then where are they documented?
I several scripts in the standard assets folder for mobile. Are there any examples or documentation for these scripts? Particularly the tap control, but i would like to know how they all work.
I like video tutorials to get myself going, but eventually i like cookbooks and technical documentation. In the user manual inside Unity, i wanted to find out about the OnMouseUp event. I could not find it through the menu system. I had to find it using the search. But what if i didnt know what to search for. What if i wanted to see all the available events for the mouse or the android touch screen. is there a doc for that? I have many questions.
Basically this thread is to ask this. How can i test my app inside unity as well as on my android? in particular is there a way to synchronize mouse events and android touch events? and where is the list of Android touch events located?
Thanks Jerry
