Why is there a large border around background image in 2D project?
I have a 2D unity project that has a fixed player size of 800x600 pixels. My background image is also 800x600 pixels, but still the image is displayed way too small. Is this a bug in the 2D initial settings for Unity? How can this bug be fixed?
if your sprite is at 100 pixels per Unit, set your camera orthographic size to 3 (600 /100 / 2; pixels / pixels per unit / half screen height)
Thanks that worked! Hopefully Unity will add a 2D setup that fixes this problem! Currently the 2D setup is still very much geared towards 3D development.
