AI navigation on a moving platform
Hi!
I was wondering how one would go about creating a navigation system for moving platform, like a pirate ship for example? So the idea is to have a pirate ship, which rotates along the waves, and there would be NPC crew on the ship. The crew would have to know how to navigate around the ship. As far as I know, basic navmesh wouldn't work, since the bake has to be static. Is there a way to implement the navmesh bake in local space or would I have to build a custom navigation system from a scratch?

I'd look for a good A* pathfinding system on the asset store. There are some free systems available as well, but you may have to extend your search outside of the AS for those.
