[Gear VR] My application start's is blocked on a black screen since a samsung update..
Hi everyone !
I have a big problem, i have a Gear VR application wich was working perfectly but after a samsung's update the same app doesn't work anymore.
When i launch the app i see the screen telling me "please plug your phone in the gear vr etc.." but when i plug my phone there is just a black screen.
I tried to use different versions of unity (5.6.1.p2 , 5.6.2p4, 2017.1.0.p1, 2017.1.0.p2) and i can't see any alterations . I also tried to change the oculus utilites (1.14,1.141,1.15 etc) but without any success.
I saw i'm not the only person having this black screen since the update but i don't find a solution on internet. :/
Anyone can help me ?
EDIT: The problem was the phone, the solution was to format it and retry to start the application...
That really doesn't sound like an issue with Unity at all...
Hmm i was sure it was my fault but you're right ! I just formatted my phone and now the app works perfectly, thank you for the idea :)
