Sprite packer best practices
Hello UA,
Can someone please tell me what is the best practice for packing sprites with sprite packer?
Say I have different sprites for Player, Background, Enemies and other items. How should I pack the sprites in order to optimize the game play to best.
All the inputs are much appreciated. Thank in advance.
keeping packing tags seperate for sprites in different scenes.
keep import settings rather equal (different compressions go into different atlases even with the same tag)
keep transparent areas as small as possible, sometimes cutting a sprite further ( L shape) is recommended.
