Unity editor 64 bit error -win7-
Im running windows 7 and unity runs as it should... i think. but at the bottom im getiing the warning "Your 64 bit Windows installation is missing an imporant service pack patch. Please apply http://support.microsoft.com/kb/976038 to ensure stability." This worries me because i dont want to get into a big project and find out it crashes or i have to restart.

I got that too, so I went ahead and installed the hot fix. It should improve editor stability when code throws exceptions. I've had a couple crashes since then, but I was doing nefarious reflection-based stuff dynamically in the editor, so I probably deserved it.
You can request the hotfix from Microsoft, or follow the link on this forum thread.
