Unity Linux 5.5.1 missing file: /home/name/Downloads/unity-5.5.1/Editor/Data/Mono/lib/data-0xf1022744800.so
I'm currently running Unity 5.5.1 on Debian Jessie, and whenever I open a project on Unity, it crashes with the following error:
Fallback handler could not load library /home/pete/Downloads/unity-editor-5.5.1xf1Linux/Editor/Data/Mono/lib/data-0xf1022744800.so
And I dont have any clue as to how to remedy it. I tried googling it, but all the solutions are for a Windows computer and not one for Linux.
I tried installing Unity with both the .sh installer as well as the .deb package, and i experience the same problem.
How do i get the file? is it in another location and i need to point Unity to it? Or is there a location where i can maually download the file and place it in there? Here is my Editor.log file describing the full problem.
