Stop physics ball falling through moving/rotating floor
This physics ball falls through the floor when the floor rotates too fast. How can I stop it?
Doesn't work:
Continuous/Dynamic rigidbody
Freezing position Y and positioning via script
This is kind of just a workaround but maybe try adding cubes without mesh renders and with rigidbodies underneath the parts of the board where there aren't holes and make sure they are parented to it. You'll also need to edit the layers so the cubes wouldn't collide with the board thats underneath the board that has the ball on it. It's not perfect but it might get you the functionality you're looking for. Game looks pretty neat btw :D
Your answer was right. The floor's collider was too thin. If I put cubes under it like you said then the ball won't go through, although it does sink into it a little.
If you post as an answer I will mark it. Thanks!
If you can access the boards rotation speed, you could try to have the cubes increase their Y scale whenever it reaches a certain speed so it appears to stay at the correct height. You'll have to tweak it until it looks right but that might work well.
