Splash Screen doesn't show up in iOS (Unity 5.5)
I'm trying to release a new version of my game building it with Unity 5.5. Currently I'm using a personal edition license so I expect to see the default Unity Logo when I launch the App from a device but I only get a black screen... then my game starts normally.
I've tried to change settings from the Splash Screen area setting it to static and all the other possible combinations... nothing to do.
Any suggestion? is this a known bug? I cannot find any other similar issue related to Unity 5.5. here.
Just to add some more information: I'm using XCode 8, I've also tried to create a completely new blank project and I see the same issue. I'm reporting it as a bug in the meanwhile.
I have the same problem. $$anonymous$$y scene loads instantly, but the Input is not working for another 3 seconds, so I can't detect touch at first. It's really annoying and it doesn't seem to be the problem on Android. I've tried different settings, but so far nothing worked. If I find solution, I'll post it.
Same issue, scene loads instantly, doesn't allow input for ~5-10 seconds. I thought the input was an issue with InControl.
Okay, so I reported it as a bug and it is indeed a problem with Unity itself. It should be fixed in future versions. https://issuetracker.unity3d.com/issues/ios-unity-splash-screen-doesnt-show-up-on-ios-builds
The issue you linked to is marked as "Status: Fixed in Unity 5.5.0", even though it's not resolved (not even in the latest patch, I just checked).
Yes, but the issue regressed in 5.5.0f3 and 5.6.0b1.
I'm still getting this as well. $$anonymous$$akes my builds pretty un publishable. I'm on android if that makes any difference.
