[solved] Unity 3.3.0f4 Crashes on Laptop
Hi, I am trying to run unity on my laptop so I can work on the go since I travel a lot.
I have installed both with and without the mono option with the same results.
After successful install, I try to run the editor and it crashes immediately.
The system I am running on is as follows:
Windows 7 Home Premium
64bit OS
Hewlett-Packard
HP Pavilion g7 Notebook PC
Intel core i3 cpu
4GB Memory
Is this a known issue of some sort, are there any fixes? Any Help I could get on this would be much appreciated.

The solution to my issue was to set up a DEP exception in windows. This is a windows security feature called "Data Execution Prevention" that has been around since before XP. Some programs that are lagit have an issue with it. The way to get to the set up depends on the operating system so you will want to look it up online at microsoft or something. It was not hard adding it to a list by browsing to the .exe file.
If anyone else is looking for the answer to this question I found this in another post and it has worked for a number of people. The systems were all different but the symptoms were the same.
