In-App Purchase linked with app version and build version?
Hi.
I published (10 days ago) an app on the google play store. Version: 1.0, Build: 2.
Now I made a test build on my device with version: 1.0.1, Build: 3.
When I now click the "No Ads" button I got this:
Error The item you requested is not available for purchase.
Hmm. So, I changed the build settings to Version: 1.0, Build: 2
And, voilà. In-App purchase works. :) That means, that the in-app products linked with the version and build version?
Can somebody explain that please.
I read a lot of about in-app purchase, but I never read something about this.
So, I must set in each new version the in-app products again?
And another question is, what happens, when I publish a new version of my game. What happens with the in-app purchases in the old versions? They are not changeable anymore?
